In addition to the traditional cruise on the main street route this year's event will feature a full festival consisting of entertainment, vendors, food, community resources & organizations, and a rock skipping tournament. Boat docking is available on a first come first serve basis and will start as early as March 16. Limited free VIP parking available on festival grounds to vintage cars. Request a vendor application to reserve your space.
Parade down Main Street will be held at 3 p.m., Let's Go Riding Cruise starts at 7 p.m. and Let's Go Dance will be held inside the old Blevins Garage at the corner of Main & Willow Streets from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The Sawmill Festival is a family event featuring continuous live music, a cypress sawmill display, numerous tournaments, a passe partout (two-person saw) contest, arts & crafts, a Cajun cook-off, rides and games, fireworks and the terrific food that made Cajun Country famous.

Tarzan is turning 100 years old. The first movie filmed on location was filmed in Morgan City in 1917. Al Bohl, has spent nearly four years producing a documentary about the making of the original Tarzan movie and has reworked the 1917 silent movie. With permission from the Edgar Rice Burroughs organization, we are hosting a festival to commemorate this historic year.
